How long before revisions get back to me?

Fast turnaround is a hallmark of Eclipse. An average 4000 word research paper is will take about 5 business days. Larger assignments may take longer. Eclipse has a policy of beginning work the moment it is received and returned once it has been finished to the editors' satisfaction. Further revisions typically take less time. Expedited revisions (overnight, over weekend, etc.) can be made upon request for a premium.

How much will editing my work cost?

Economical pricing will be assured when a sample of your work is submitted for a quote. Each work is unique, so the best way to find out how much your work will cost is to get a free, no-obligation quote. Since each assignment is different the price can have a wide range. On average, a typical 4000 word research paper ranges from US$125 - US$375 depending on the type of services needed.

Do you only edit electronic documents?

Any document can be edited by Eclipse. Clearly, the most effecient way to communicate assignments is electronically. We don't let formatting issues hamper editing. We can work with virtually any assignment, electronic or print. Eclipse can also accept large assignments and/or assignments with multiple components as compressed attachments (e.g. .zip, .sit). Files may also be directly uploaded to our work server via FTP. We can instruct you how to do this as we set up a work order. Assignments may also be mailed or faxed to our editing office.

What types of electronic files can you edit?

Most PC and Mac documents can be edited by Eclipse. Below is a list of preferred formats:

• PowerPoint (.ppt)
• Excel (.xls)
• Portable Document Format (.pdf)

Microsoft Word (.doc) format is the preferred document format. When requesting a quote include the file format so your editors can be sure it may be readily opened and edited.

Can Eclipse translate my document into English?

Currently, Eclipse Scientific Editing does not offer translation services.

Do your services include a peer review of the content?

No, our editors do not evaluate the scientific merits of your project. Our services only involve improving the fluency of your English to enhance your scientific communication.

When do I make payment?

Payment is only expected when you are happy with your work. Payment will be requested when you are comfortable that the assignment has been improved to where you can publish or present it. Arrangements for payment can also be made at anytime before or during work on your assignment.

How do I make payment?

Credit card is the most effecient method of payment. We offer invoicing and payment conveniently through PayPal. Other arrangements can also be made for payment via check. See our Payment page for more detailed information.

What if I have a problem with the revisions Eclipse made?

Eclipse guarantees your satisfaction. This means our editors will consult with you about the assignment until completed.
